Well, it was something I struggled with. I’ve often wanted to shout to the world, I know Emily Luchetti! And she’s one of my students! because it is an amazing thrill to have admired you and your work, used your recipes 100s of times, then find myself on the teaching side. TBH, I didn’t want the piece to come across as name-dropping, but a look at how our paths can wind and verge in unexpected ways. That time you took my in-person class was mind-blowing for me. I was terrified! Mostly of what you’d think of my tiny kitchen~~now I’d have no fear of you standing in my even tinier one. In writing this, I’m wondering if what I should have written about is the experience of getting to know you. I may chalk this one up to a work in progress. xxoo
